Corporate social responsibility is a key focus for us, and we’re proud to be able to give back to our industry and local area.
A local, family-run business
Since 2004, Jenni and Alex Turco have run Positive Wealth Creation together, proudly serving the residents of Burnham-on-Sea, as well as clients from the wider Somerset area and across the UK. In fact, we’ve been at the heart of the community since 1987, when under a previous business name, we opened the town centre premises we still use today.
Clients say that with us, they know they’re getting a fair service for a fair price, and that’s exactly what we try to offer. Our aim is to be a beacon for both the local and wider community whilst continuing to provide a good service to everyone we work with.
Supporting the next generation of financial planners
For the past 10 years, we’ve worked closely with the University of the West of England as a ‘Course Connect’ to prepare students for a career in financial services.
Each year, we sponsor a prize for the best completion of the Personal Financial Planning course, to date we have offered 13 students paid placements during the partnership, as well as delivering an annual guest lecture.
Jenni also sits on the university’s Academic Advisory Board for Accounting, Economics and Finance.

Social Responsibility
In 2023 we continued to be aware of, and measure our carbon emissions. To make the activities of the business carbon neutral, we have offset our remaining emissions by planting 14 trees here in the South West of England. Since we started offsetting our emissions, 50 trees have been planted.
In calculating our emissions we took into account the entire emissions provided by Burnham-on-Sea & Highbridge Town Council’s firework supplier concerning the November 2021 and 2022 Firework display to which we contributed sponsorship. The 2023 display was cancelled.
