Our fees reflect the value we deliver

Transparency is the foundation of a good relationship with our clients. We believe in being open and honest from the very first interaction, and that starts by disclosing our fees online.

When you choose our services, you don’t just pay for a financial plan; you pay for our team’s combined knowledge, expertise, time and analysis. We become your trusted sounding board and a safe pair of hands, telling you what you must do to get to where you want to be.

At the heart of what we do is our identity as a long-standing family business. But it’s the family values we live by that set us apart – being there not only for each other but also for our clients, always.

Below, you’ll find a breakdown of our fees for each stage of the financial planning process: Initial overview report, Implementation and Ongoing service. We will also hold a 30-minute initial meeting at our expense with no obligation.

Initial overview report

What you’ll pay: £1,500

What’s included at this stage?

  • Gathering full information about your current affairs and where you are now
  • Speaking to your existing financial providers to obtain full details of your current affairs
  • Going through your existing plans and arrangements
  • Calculating any potential tax savings, including allowances or reliefs you aren’t currently using
  • Carrying out cashflow modelling if applicable to you
  • A written report outlining the steps you must take to get to where you want to be
  • A presentation of the report and a follow-up meeting.

The arrangement of financial products is exempt from VAT. We will always advise you if our service is not exempt from VAT and is due in addition to our fee.

Positive Wealth Creation Ltd profile

Implementation

What you’ll pay: 1% – 3% of the amount invested. This is subject to a minimum fee of £1,000.

We’ll deduct the £1,500 already paid for the initial overview report from the implementation fee. As an example, if you invest £200,000, the maximum fee would be £3,500 (3% of the first £100,000 and 2% of the remaining £100,000, minus the £1,500 already paid).

What’s included at this stage?

  • A meeting to explain our recommendations for achieving your aims and objectives, followed by a written report that details our proposals
  • Completing and submitting application forms and paperwork
  • Tracking progress with product providers, chasing them for updates when needed, and dealing with any queries they have
  • Producing policy documentation.

Ongoing service

What you’ll pay: This is dependent on the service required; please see below for further details.

Core service

If you sign up to our Core ongoing service, you will receive:

  • Access to monthly newsletters plus other publications and updates
  • Notification of any substantive change in your investments
  • Your records maintained
  • Annual planning invitation
  • Access to an adviser for advice, guidance and general queries on your existing portfolio (one hour per year)
  • Additional services for fund platform clients and pension fund drawdown clients.

What you’ll pay: 0.5% of assets under advice per year, subject to a minimum of £750.

As an example, the annual fee for a £250,000 portfolio is £1,250.

Enhanced service

If you sign up to our Enhanced ongoing service, you will receive:

  • Everything provided as Core aftercare
  • An additional hour’s access to an adviser per year
  • Notification of any substantive change in investment funds
  • 30 minutes of contact per year with other professional advisers
  • Assistance with cash deposit maturities
  • Provision of valuations to your executors on death.

What you’ll pay: 0.5% of assets under advice per year, subject to a minimum of £1,500.

As an example, the annual fee for a £500,000 portfolio is £2,500.

Bespoke service

If you sign up to our Bespoke ongoing service, you will receive:

  • Everything provided as Enhanced aftercare
  • Your choice from up to four portfolio reports per year, up to two one-hour meetings with an adviser per year, and up to one extra hour of contact per year with other professional advisers.

What you’ll pay: 0.5% of assets under advice per year, subject to a minimum of £4,000.

As an example, the annual fee for a £800,000 portfolio is £4,000.
